How to Scan Multi-Page PDFs Online Free
Contracts, book chapters, expense receipts — most real documents are multi-page. Here's how to turn a stack of paper into a single, clean PDF using only your browser, free.
Step-by-step
- Go to Scanner.cam and tap Scan Camera.
- Capture page 1. Straighten it with the corner handles if needed and pick a filter (Magic Color or Clean B/W).
- Capture page 2, page 3, and so on — each becomes a thumbnail in the page strip.
- Reorder: drag thumbnails into the right sequence. Rotate any sideways pages.
- Tap Export and download one consolidated PDF in A4 or US Letter — no watermark, no page limit.
Tips for long documents
- Batch first, export once — capture all pages before exporting so you only handle the PDF once.
- Keep lighting consistent across pages so the PDF looks uniform.
- Use Clean B/W for text-heavy documents — it keeps file sizes small and text razor sharp.
- Check page order in the thumbnail strip before exporting; reordering after export means redoing it.
Why not just merge PDFs later?
You can scan single pages and merge them with a PDF tool afterward — but that's two tools and extra steps. Capturing directly into a multi-page workflow is faster and keeps consistent quality settings across every page.
Privacy note
Multi-page documents are often the sensitive kind (contracts, medical records). Scanner.cam processes everything locally in your browser — pages never upload anywhere, unlike cloud-based merge tools.
